The Dark Room

2011

Dutch Photo Museum Rotterdam

For the Dutch Photo Museum in Rotterdam Tungsten produced the audiovisual content for the exhibition in which the museum converted 250m2 into a Dark Room. In twenty mini-documentaries, the relatively young history of photography is being told with the help of photographs, films, animations, interviews and music. Every visitor gets their own photo paper which they put under the ‘enlarger’ (projector) in a developing tray, after which, the automatically starting film, slowly becomes visible. Magic.

Winner of the Golden Heron 2012 in the category spatial media!
